Animal Crossing: New Horizons Adds Mario Clothes And Items Next Month

Nintendo shared more details on Animal Crossing: New Horizons’ Mario-themed update during today’s Nintendo Direct. The update is slated to arrive February 25 and will add a line of Mushroom Kingdom furniture, clothing, and other Mario-themed content to the life sim.

The Mario items will be available to order from Nook Shopping starting March 1, and they include Question Blocks, Super Mushrooms, Whomps, Fire Flowers, and more. You’ll also be able to purchase warp pipes, which you can place around your island and travel between the two locations.

In addition to the furniture, various clothing items based on Super Mario characters are being added to the game. The Direct showcased outfits based on Mario, Luigi, Wario, and Princess Peach.

Nintendo has been steadily rolling out new updates for Animal Crossing: New Horizons since its release last year. The game’s most recent update arrived back in late January and introduced the Festivale event as well as new reactions and a variety of seasonal items.
